A 'dangerous' man has been jailed after he sexually assaulted a woman at his home then refused to let her leave as she tried to flee.
The victim visited Robert Shepherd's home in the Leigh area on last year 'to complete checks for her profession', police said.
But as she completed some online forms in the front room, described as being 'dark with no lights on', the 60-year-old 'started to touch her'.
Despite her warning him off, he carried on his attack. He then threatened to 'rip her trousers and knickers off', Bolton Crown Court heard yesterday (Friday).
