A man was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after a Lamborghini burst into flames following a crash on the M62.
Police were called to the slip roads close to junction 25 of the M62 heading towards Manchester at around 5.05pm yesterday afternoon (August 22).
Enquiries established two vehicles - a Lamborghini Aventador and a Mazda CX - had been involved in a collision. West Yorkshire Police said the Lamborghini entered the motorway at junction 25 while the Mazda was already on the motorway when the collision, which caused both vehicles to catch on fire, happened. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and are also being treated in hospital. Police are now appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision or the moments leading up to it to get in touch.
