Man stabbed has he tried to stop intruder getting into his home

A Bellshill man was stabbed as he tried to stop an unwelcome visitor getting into his home.Caleb Walker, 20, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.He admitted assaulting a man at the victim's flat on October 27 last year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Police officers arrested Walker at his home the next day, he made no reply when charged."Sheriff Liam Murphy deferred sentence until next month for background reports.
