dailyrecord.co.ukattack on a man in Glasgow. Earlier we told how officers cordoned off Scaraway Street and Skerray Street in the Milton area of the city after locals claimed the victim was 'slashed and stabbed' during the alleged incident last night.
Police confirmed they have now launched an attempted murder probe after the 27-year-old man was jumped in a "targeted attack" by three men "with weapons".
A Police spokesman confirmed that at around 9.55pm a 27-year-old man was on the footpath next to nearby Skerray Street when a dark coloured car similar to a Volkswagen Golf and a dark coloured saloon car pulled up beside him.Three men got out and proceeded to attack him with weapons before making off in the vehicles in an unknown direction.The injured male.
