Man seen 'bleeding on the floor' after stabbing on Bury street

A man was seen 'bleeding on the floor' after he was reportedly stabbed in a horror attack on a residential street in Bury on Sunday (November 17).

Police were called to the scene on Sawley Avenue, in the Unsworth area, on Sunday afternoon. Officers attended to reports of a knife attack on a nearby footpath.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was rushed to hospital from the scene with serious injuries. Emergency services vehicles flooded the residential street and taped off the area at around 4.15pm.

Crime Scene Investigators in white suits also attended and were seen carrying out fingertip searches of the road with torches and bagging up evidence.
