Man rushed to hospital after horror attack in Glasgow with street cordoned off
dailyrecord.co.ukA man has been rushed to hospital following a horror attack in Glasgow.Emergency services raced to Westmuir Street in Parkhead after the alarm was raised at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
Officers were responding to reports of a serious assault. Ambulance crews attended and the injured man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
His condition is currently unknown.Pictures taken from the scene showed a heavy police presence in the area. Several officers are at the scene and a large area of the road is cordoned off.Officers say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Thursday, 21 December, 2023, we received a report that a man had been seriously assaulted in Westmuir Street, Glasgow.“He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
