A man has been taken to hospital after a car being chased by police ploughed into a van in north Manchester. Police became aware of a vehicle acting suspiciously on Crab Lane in Blackley shortly after 8.15pm last night (November 13).

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be serious. A 31-year-old man has since been arrested, including for driving offences he was wanted for by North Wales Police.
