A man has been robbed in a town centre backstreet before being attacked by a group. Greater Manchester Police has launched an investigation following the incident, close to a taxi rank in Bury.
The attack took place at around 4.30am on Sunday (May 14) at Parks Yard, off Silver Street. GMP says the man was first attacked by one of the members of the group, before having items taken off him.
Officers believe the victim was then subject to another attack from members of the same group. Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to come forward. A male was assaulted and had items of his property stolen by another male. "This male was then further assaulted by a group of males believed to be part of the same group during the incident.
