Man left with serious injuries to face and head after terrifying gang attack on Scots street as cops hunt teens

Paisley last night. Emergency services scrambled to Neilston Road, near Lapsley Avenue after a 40-year-old man was seriously assaulted by hoodlums at around 9.30pm on Friday, June 4.

The man sustained serious injuries to his face and head and was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.The five male suspects, in their late teens, are believed to have been part of a larger group of male and female youths that were in the area at the time of the attack.The suspects ran in the direction of Paisley town centre following the assault.Officers are appealing for information and they are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch.The first suspect is described as a white male with close shaved hair.
