Police sealed off McDonald Road, near to the Bonnington area of the capital, at around 11pm on Wednesday October 6.It is reported the victim was walking home when a 'group of lads' jumped out and battered him, in which a local described as 'horrible to witness'.
Photographs shared with the Record show a cordon blocking off one end of the road, that connects the B900 and Haddington Place.
