A man has been jailed for the "savage, vicious and prolonged attack" in which he killed his girlfriend after he was angered by her dancing with others.
Keith Rizzo inflicted at least 26 stab wounds and 32 blunt force injuries on his 23-year-old partner Neomi Smith during the attack.
Rizzo, 23, then concocted "fanciful accounts" of how she died at the hands of two "mystery men" who then "vanished into thin air".
But a jury saw through Rizzo's lies and unanimously agreed that he was responsible for the brutal slaying which took place in Brechin, Angus, Scotland, on June 9 last year.
