A man has been arrested after police were called to a domestic disturbance in Bolton. Several police cars and vans rushed to Southfield Drive in Westhoughton at around 9.15am this morning (December 23) following a 'domestic disturbance'.
It came after a 'call of concern of someone's welfare', Greater Manchester Police confirmed. A number of police cars and vans with blue lights on were seen on the residential street, with neighbours reporting that they saw a man being put in the back of a police van. A man in his 20s has been arrested for being drunk and disorderly at around 9.15am. Police are understood to have left the scene at around 11am.
