A man was hospitalised following an incident in Paisley town centre at the weekend.A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident which saw a man, 28, taken to hospital following a “disturbance” on Gauze Street in broad daylight.Police didn't have far to go, with the incident occurring just metres from the Paisley Police Station.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Saturday, December 3, officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Gauze Street, Paisley.“A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital.“Two men, aged 28 and 29, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.” Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
