Cops have launched a probe after a man was hit by a car and a van set ablaze in separate incidents police believe to be 'linked' in a Scots town.
West Lothian police are investigating the two reports over the weekend in Livingston. The first incident happened around 1pm on Friday where a 43-year-old man was hit by a car within a communal car park on Pinebank.The vehicle left him pinned between his van and the car.On Saturday around 2.50am, officers received a report of a van on fire in a car park on Gowanbank, Ladywell.The blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no injuries were reported.A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with both incidents and released pending further enquiries.Officers are
