Detectives are still trying to establish a motive for the attackon Tuesday evening on Cholmondeley Road, when a shot was fired at a house in the street.
But the Manchester Evening News understands that one possible line of inquiry is an incident which happened in 2010. A 43-year-old man was blasted by a masked gunman outside the Dog and Partridge in Bolton Road, Irlams o' th' Height, Salford, one evening in April that year.
