Man found dead on Scots street as police probe 'suspicious' death

Police are investigating the 'suspicious' death of a man whose body was found on a Wishaw street. James McMaster was discovered on Maxton Crescent at around 2.10pm on Thursday, December 5.Following a post-mortem examination, the 53-year-old's death is being treated as suspicious.

Police believe he was assaulted.Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and have been gathering CCTV footage to help them establish the circumstances.
