A man has died in a car crash in Paisley on Wednesday morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene around 6.15am after reports of a collision on Old Sneddon Street.The area was taped off by police as numerous emergency vehicles attended the incident following reports of a crash involving one car.
The 59-year-old driver was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.Sadly he could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.The road has now reopened to traffic.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15am on Wednesday, 28 December, police were called to a report of a road crash involving one car on Old Sneddon Street, Paisley.“The 59-year-old driver was taken by Ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.“Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the crash.”Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here.
