A man died after a 'sinus infection' headache turned out to be a deadly brain tumour. Paul James, 37, was diagnosed with a rare tumour from which very few survive, even after undergoing treatment. The 37-year-old started experiencing headaches back in 2018 before a trip to Venice with his wife Karen James.
He dismissed it as just that and upon the return from the trip continued on living life as normal, reports the Liverpool Echo.Karen said: "The only sign was headaches, so we were back and forth to the doctors.
He was fine - not fine, he had headaches, but he was still in work. "We went to Venice and he still had the headaches and then, yeah, it all went downhill when we came back He was strong, he wasn't overweight, so we didn't think it was more serious. "We just did the usual thing.
At the time it wasn't going, I started to think, 'What's causing these headaches?', but I personally didn't think of a brain tumour."However, that was the devastating diagnosis the husband received after collapsing at home in April 2018.
