A man has died after a serious "head-on" collision in St Helens. Merseyside Police were called at around 7.40pm yesterday evening, November 17, to reports of a two car crash on Travers Entry.
The junction of Travers Entry and Neills Road was closed for several hours, but has now reopened fully. The crash, which involved a silver Nissan Qashqai and a silver Kia Ceed, was described as "head on" by another eyewitness. Officers have now confirmed that a man in his 50s sadly died at the scene.
