A man injured in a house explosion has died in hospital, police have revealed. He's been named as Nigel Barrow, 78, and police said his family are being supported by specialist officers as an investigation into the explosion continues.

Neighbours in at least a dozen properties were evacuated, with some not able to return home until the following afternoon. Police said at the time a joint investigation into the 'circumstances of the incident' was ongoing, however 'this is being delayed due to the structural damage to the property'.
