A man has died after hit by a car in an alleway last night (Friday). The tragedy happened in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, at around 11:20pm.
Lancashire Police said they were called to the scene off Paramatta Street and found an Audi A5 'had been in collision with a man who was in the alleyway'.
The man, who is in his 30s and who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
No arrests have been made, Lancs Live reports. Officers are now appealing for witnesses and asking for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to get in contact.
