Ian Tilston, 34, needed major brain surgery and can no longer see or walk following the crash on January 10 2022. He was driving from his home in Hawarden, North Wales to work in Nantwich on the M56 when his life changed forever.
As Ian exited at junction 10, a car in front hit a horse which had escaped from a nearby field. The horse then hit his car, crushing both the vehicle and himself.
Ian was rushed to Salford Royal Hospital where underwent life-saving brain surgery and multiple procedures to rebuild his face, reports the ECHO.
