A man accused of raping murdering student Libby Squire has denied killing her - saying they had consensual sex. Pawel Relowicz allegedly killed Libby, 21, and pushed her into the River Hull after she went missing on January 31, 2019 following a night out with friends in Hull.
The prosecution suggested Relowicz picked up Libby when she was “drunk and vulnerable” and then raped her before dumping her in a freezing cold river to “silence her screams”.
But Relowicz has told a jury he did not kill or rape Libby Squire. He was asked: “Did you rape her?'...Did you kill her?...Did you convey her to the river?...and place her in the river and return back?
