Man City transfer latest as deal announced amid £250m revamp

Manchester City have announced that defender Josh Wilson-Esbrand has joined Championship side Stoke City on loan for the remainder of the season, as their squad revamp continues.

City have already confirmed the £33.5m capture of Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov, as well as the £29.5 million signing of Palmeiras' Vitor Reis.

They are also closing in on the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush, who is expected to complete a £60million-plus move imminently.

It has been reported that City's transfer budget this window could be as much as £250million, with their plan of a summer of spending bought forward due to the poor form earlier in the season.
