The Premier League champions are still eager to try and sign the England captain during this summer's transfer window, with a reported fee of £150m enough to get a deal done with his club Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Spurs are unwilling to negotiate on that price and, despite Kane making it clear that he wants to leave the club by returning back to training late, City have been so far unable to strike a deal.
