Goalkeeper Ederson was forced off just 11 minutes into the start of the second half of Manchester City's Premier League heavyweight clash with Liverpool at Anfield through injury.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was guilty of clattering Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez just three minutes after the restart, rushing out to try and beat the Uruguayan to an under-hit back-pass from City defender Nathan Ake.
He connected with the former Benfica man with force, resulting in Liverpool earning a penalty. Alexis Mac Allister stepped up and brought Liverpool level, cancelling out John Stones' first half opener.
That was only after Ederson had received treatment from the City medical staff.
