Manchester City are ready to go toe-to-toe with Arsenal in the battle to sign versatile Barcelona ace Sergi Roberto. That is according to a report by Fichajes who claim that City have 'shown interest' in signing the 29-year-old Spaniard, who can operate at either right-back on in the centre of midfield.
Roberto is out of contract at the Camp Nou next summer and will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club outside of Spain from January if he has not signed a new deal by then.
