Manchester City are reportedly being updated on Southampton's Romeo Lavia despite selling him last summer. Lavia was sold by City for around £12m as he searched for more playing time away from the Etihad.
While his debut season with the Saints ended in relegation to the Championship, the Belgian defensive midfielder earned plenty of plaudits.
According to 90min, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are the main contenders to sign the 19-year-old to strengthen their ranks.
Should they wish to do so though, they will need to fork out in excess of £50m, it is understood. City, who lost Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona this summer, reportedly have a buy back clause in the deal and are being kept aware of the situation ahead of a potential swoop for him.
