Manchester City's injury crisis is growing, with Matheus Nunes becoming the fourth player to withdraw from international duty in as many days.
City are still without Kevin De Bruyne, with Sergio Gomez and John Stones picking up fresh injuries recently to keep them out until after the international break.
Nathan Ake got injured in training last week so withdrew from the Netherlands squad on Sunday, with Ederson (foot) and Mateo Kovacic (muscle) pulling out of the Brazil and Croatia camps respectively on Monday.
Now, midfielder Nunes has been withdrawn from the Portugal squad after reportedly missing training on Wednesday, leaving City with just 14 fit outfield players.
