Manchester City goalkeeper Mikki van Sas has completed a transfer to Feyenoord. Van Sas joined City in 2020 from boyhood club Utrecht and was a regular presence between the sticks for the highly successful Under-21 side.
However, he never featured for Pep Guardiola's senior team and has now returned to the Netherlands on a free transfer. The 19-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Dutch champions until 2026 and will wear No.39 in Rotterdam. Van Sas becomes the latest City departure on deadline day after Cole Palmer secured a permanent £42m transfer to Chelsea, Taylor Harwood-Bellis joined Southampton on loan with an obligation to buy if they earn promotion and Tommy Doyle moved to Wolves on loan with a £5m option.
James McAtee is also expected to depart on loan with a return to Sheffield United and Joao Cancelo could still seal a move to Barcelona.
