Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has called for peace in the club’s war with UEFA, claiming he holds no grudges against them.
City won their bitter battle with UEFA when the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled against the governing body and overturned the club’s two-year European ban.
UEFA claimed City had tried to hide breaching their Financial Fair Play rules and the Blues have felt for years that they have been treated unfairly.
Khaldoon claims all this ill feeling is in the past and insists City want to work with UEFA. He says they must respect the Champions League if they are finally going to win it after their disappointing defeat to Lyon in last season’s quarter-finals.
