Manchester City academy prospect Daniel Ogwuru admits he was inspired by former teammate Rico Lewis after joining Championship side Norwich.
Ogwuru moved to the Canaries in a permanent deal late on Friday night. The 18-year-old signed a long-term contract with the second-tier side and will initially join up with their academy sides.
He joined City at the age of 14, progressing through the age groups and being part of the 2021/2022 under-18 Premier League winning side.
The striker netted seven goals in 16 appearances last season for the under-18s and under-21s. Rising through the ranks at the same time was Lewis, whose incredible trajectory has seen him break into the first-team and feature regularly under Pep Guardiola.
