A man has been charged with the murder of Elinor O'Brien, 22, who was found with stab wounds at an apartment building in Manchester city centre last week.
She later sadly passed away in hospital. Kevin Mannion, 44, is accused of murdering Elinor at Great Northern Tower on Watson Street on Tuesday, August 16.
Mr Mannion, of Watson Street, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of section 18 assault and appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Friday (August 19) charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, where he was remanded into custody.
After Elinor passed away later, he has since been charged with murder and is now set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday (August 24).
