Man charged over death at flat in Glasgow following 'disturbance'

A man has been charged after a death at a flat in Glasgow yesterday following a 'disturbance. ' Officers were alerted to the incident at Kennishead Avenue at around 10:20pm on Monday, February 13, following reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival they found a 43-year-old man with serious injuries but sadly he passed away a short time later. Police say a 31 year-old man has now been charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Wednesday February 15.Police remained at the scene yesterday and an image shows the area cordoned off with police tape, as an officer stands guard nearby.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.20 pm on Monday, 13 February 2023, emergency services attended a report of a disturbance at a flat in Kennishead Avenue, Glasgow."A 43-year-old man was found with serious injuries and died a short time later at the scene."A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 15 February, 2023.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - sign up to our daily newsletter here .
