A man has been charged in connection with attempted murder after a pensioner was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on Sunday evening.Emergency services rushed to the Oystercatcher Close area of Forres, around 10pm last night, following reports of an 84-year-old woman being allegedly assaulted.
The woman was rushed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, where she remains with serious injuries. A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.
