A man has been charged after a 37-year-old woman was found dead within a house in Hamilton.Police found the female in a flat in Hamilton Park North at around 8.10am on Saturday, February 18.Cops have now said a 64-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.He will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 27.Locals have reported a heavy police presence in the area since the incident.One man told Daily Record: "It's very worrying.

There have been police everywhere."A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman at an address on Hamilton Park North, Hamilton on Saturday, 18 February 2023. "He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 February, 2023.
