manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man who broke into a close friend's house and pleasured himself on underwear from her knicker drawer has been jailed. Ashley Watling, 44, had got a key of the woman's house cut and let himself into her house on two occasions.
The 44-year-old was caught by the friend on his second visit and made excuses as to why he was in her home. But the woman investigated further and found that her underwear had been soiled, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard she felt 'betrayed' by Watling's actions and now lives in constant fear of being attacked or followed. The woman later secretly recorded Watling admitting what he'd done, and now he's been jailed for 30 months.
He'll also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order banning him from contacting her for seven years. Prosecutor Ekwall Tiwana told the court the victim and her husband had been long-term friends of Watling.
