Man beat up ex after she dumped him - then laid into her mum and dad

Anthony Tye, 35, drove to his ex's home on August 22 last year with two other women after she dumped him. One of the women, who has never been identified, began attacking Tye's former girlfriend while he climbed up onto his ex's car roof and began smashing her windscreen.
Tye then climbed down, punched his ex and kicked her in the ribs, as the second woman joined in, before he stole his ex's phone and the trio drove off.
Nick Dry, prosecuting, told Teesside Crown Court that his ex-partner was so badly affected in the aftermath she requested help for her mental health.
