A woman has told a murder trial of how she desperately tried to stem the alleged victim's bleeding while her kids fetched her towels.
Jordan Brophy asked the mum if he was dying as she tended to the wounds on his head, neck and arm, the trial at Liverpool Crown Court heard on Wednesday.
Half brothers Karl Townsend and Jamie Cunningham are on trial for Mr Brophy's murder. The pair allegedly armed themselves with knives after being alerted by a Ring doorbell to a break-in at Mr Townsend's Halewood home on October 29 last year, Liverpool Echo reports.
Prosecutors allege that Mr Townsend and Mr Cunningham rushed to the property and attacked Mr Brophy in revenge for the botched burglary attempt at the house on Beechwood Avenue.
