A suspected kidnapper has been arrested after an 87-year-old man was allegedly bundled into a car and thrown out 15 miles away.
The elderly victim was reportedly dragged into a black car on Lee Street, in Oldham, on Sunday evening (September 15). He had been walking home from Oldham Central Mosque at the time of the incident.
It's believed the pensioner was blindfolded, threatened and had his clothes ripped by the offenders, who demanded money and his phone.
Greater Manchester Police says the man was attacked while being driven to West Yorkshire between 9pm and 9.30pm, suffering serious injuries as a result.
