Police have detained a 46-year-old man from Wythenshawe after he was pulled over by officers at junction 28 of the M62 in West Yorkshire on Tuesday night (April 6).
The man remains in custody waiting to be quizzed by detectives. It comes after GMP received a report that a woman had been raped in a car on Marriott Street in the early hours of Friday, 26 March.
