A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was stabbed to death. Matthew Daulby, 19, died in hospital after being found injured in Railway Road, Ormskirk, West Lancashire, just after midnight on Saturday (July 29).
A second 19-year-old man was also treated for stab injuries. His injuries were not serious and he has been discharged from hospital, police have confirmed. He remains in custody. A man from Liverpool and a second man from Melling, both 19, were arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with an altercation in Railway Road involving a number of men.
They have been released on bail until October 14. A cordon was in place around Railway Road, Moor Street and Moorgate yesterday as police continued their investigations.
