A man has been arrested over the alleged murder of a woman.Emergency crews were called to a report of concern for a woman at an address on Hyde Road in Manchester at 11.20am on Saturday, September 30.
Officers attended but despite the efforts of medics, the 43-year-old died.Greater Manchester Police say her family are currenly being supported.
As reported in Manchester Evening News, a 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.He remains in custody for questioning.
Police have not disclosed in which area of Hyde Road the incident occurred. However, they said a cordon remained in place whilst they continued to try and piece together what happened.Detective Superintendent Helen Critchley, from the force's Major Incident Team, said: “Firstly, I want to send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of the woman who sadly died today.
