A man has been arrested after gunshots were reportedly fired on a street in Leigh. Four shots were heard in quick succession on Ribble Grove earlier this month.
A red Audi A3 style car was in the area at the time police say. An investigation was launched after people living in the area reported hearing loud bangs at around 1:30am in the early hours of Saturday, July 9.
Detectives now say they believe a firearm was used. A man was arrested in connection with the "serious" incident on Ribble Grove, which is a small cul-de-sac off Mersey Street in the built-up, residential Firs Lane area of the town..
