Man arrested after police raid Paisley property and seize large haul of Class A drugs

A Paisley property was raided and tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs seized inside. Police armed with a search warrant gained entry to the Arthur Street dwelling around 10.30pm on Thursday night.

Officers from the Renfrewshire violence reduction unit scoured the address and discovered Class-A drugs with a street value of more than £50,000.

A 35-year-old man has been charged in connection with drug supply offences and will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
