A man has been arrested after a car was found perched atop a metallic cylinder in a Scots town roundabout. Officers were called to Scotts Street in Annan, Dumfriesshire, at around 5.10am on Wednesday May 17, following reports a vehicle had been abandoned.
Images from the scene showed a black Honda Civic balanced around a metre off the ground on cylinder within the roundabout on the B721.
Locals were again left baffled after a statue appeared at the roundabout days later. A Johnny Walker sculpture was pictured perched on top of an orange police cone on Friday May 19.
The statue and car were both recovered by investigators.Police Scotland has since confirmed a 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
