Assad Hussain pleaded guilty to causing the death of 58-year-old Gay Wharton by dangerous driving in an incident on Chorley New Road.The court heard the 23-year-old, of Maplewood Gardens, Bolton, was driving an Audi S3 during the incident, just after noon on Friday, November 13.A second man, Wasim Iqbal, 23, has denied a charge of causing Mrs Wharton's death by dangerous driving and a separate charge of perverting the course of justice.A trial date was set for June 1, 2021 by Judge Martin Walsh.Members of Mrs Wharton's family were present in court.The grandmother served as.
