Man, 77, who died on M60 after BMW travelling wrong way crashed into his car named with inquest to open

David Faulkner was fatally injured when a BMW - believed to be stolen - collided with his Vauxhall on the motorway near Stockport on Thursday, 27 May.

The BMW, which was being driven by 18-year-old Brandon Geasley Pryde, is understood to have been travelling on the wrong side of the carriageway at the time of the crash.

Both Mr Faulkner and Mr Geasley Pryde were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash has since been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
