A man has been charged in connection with a spate of thefts from vehicles in Manchester city centre. Police said the 'multiple' thefts were reported to officers between September and November.
Stephen Prescott, of no fixed abode, has now been charged in connection with the incidents. The 38-year-old has been charged with three counts of three from a motor vehicle.
He was remanded into custody. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "A 38-year-old man has been charged after officers received reports of multiple thefts from motor vehicles across Manchester City Centre between September and November 2023. "Stephen Prescott (14/10/1985) of no fixed abode was charged with three counts of theft from motor vehicle.
