Man, 35, who died in tragic crash that shut major road for hours is named

A biker who died in a crash in Tameside has been named as 35-year-old Joseph Booth. The fatal incident occurred on Mottram Moor in Mottram on the evening of May 8.

Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black motorcycle at around 10.15pm.

Mr Booth was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Following the tragic incident, the road was closed overnight as police carried out their enquiries.
